Public Relations Department
This section is responsible for the dissemination of news about events, services, guidelines and other types of information of the central library and documentation center of Shahid Beheshti University. The other aim of this department is to interact with users inside and outside of the campus, public relation department of SBU and public relations section of faculties and units.
Some of the activities of this department are summarized below:
- Communicating with faculty members, students and staff members of the university with the aim of informing and coordinating between library programs and educational programs of the university;
- Interaction with faculty members to inform academicians about their specific events and programs such as workshops, lectures, sessions, etc.
- Interaction with other libraries and information centers, and national, specialized and local associations to identify their specialized resources and services to establish referral services;
- Coordination by users for participating or holding meetings, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
- Preparing news, and reports about the central library.
