Green thinking: the main key to the development of a green archive specialized meeting held by Dr. Haji-Zinolabdini

Green thinking in an organizational environment is observing the organization in the context of the environment and feeling responsible for reducing the harmful effects of its daily performance and activities on the environment. Paying attention to the environmental components and the social responsibility of any institution or organization towards it is not a new issue and has been of international interest for many years. Several standards have been educated and have done research projects in this field so far, and various organizations and businesses have audited and evaluated their performance and activities in an effort to harmonize with these standards. The green library itself is an international movement in this field, which has been trending since the early 1990s.

Since the archive, despite its independent identity, is an organization of the same family as the library, becoming a green institution and paying attention to sustainable development can be considered a social-ecological responsibility for these types of institutions. Taking a step in this direction and at least getting close to the conditions for obtaining certificates in this field requires an ecological perspective as well as organizational culture. In the current meeting, the framework, general principles and solutions of approaching the green-minded archive will be discussed in the way of sustainable and environment-friendly development.
