On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, a botanical tour was held in the children's and adolescent library of Shahid Beheshti University's Central Library and Documentation Center in cooperation with “My Colorful Trip” tourism agency, Somayeh Arya Asal, Roya Khosroshahi and Taraneh Tajik.
In this event, the facilitators explained theoretically about different types of plants. After that, they visited the library area, closely observed and smelled the plants of the area and got to know the shape of the leaves and different types of plants. They collected their favorite leaves from plants such as nasturtium, ivy, lavender, juniper, sycamore, cypress, plantain and pine and made creative crafts using them.
Various experiences in childhood form a considerable part of our personality in adulthood. The botanical tour was an informative experience for the participants. We hope it will leave a joyful memory in the minds of the participants who are future supporters of the nature.
